There is yet another wave of playful/brushable ponies before we get any new characters. Right now [as per Rhinis thread] the first Crystal Empire wave of brushables are hitting shelves.

The next wave which is in theory a Jan release will have per pack:
3 x Applejack
1 x Fluttershy
2 x Pinkie Pie
2 x Rainbow Dash
3 x Rarity
1 x Twilight Sparkle

I ask that we join together in a collective "Really? Hasbro??? Really???" moment.

Where is the promised Ploomette! [I am keeping everything crossed the next wave is the all bar Rainbow Dash and plus Ploomette promised].

Tell me about it, I've only been collecting for a few months and I'm already sick of the repetition. While it does save me money to buy the older releases that came out before I started collecting, it would be nice to see one or two new faces in the upcoming wave. I haven't even seen Ploomette on the Crystal Empire flyer. Come on, Hasbro, I'm getting worried...

I am just happy they are still making ponies.......I know that it sucks they are the same one again.  I do not want that day to come when the ponies end. I still remember that day when the G1's were no longer in the stores and then the G2's came out. And the day I went to the store and there were no more ponies   That was a very sad sad day!! I go to the pony section everytime I go to the store just to see them there

Awww...what a bummer.

I wonder if they'll release Ploomette in some sort of special two-pack.  An expensive exclusive two-pack, naturally. 

I wish we'd get princess ponies, baby ponies and boy ponies released as singles... Or at least more unique regular female pony characters as singles.  Can't be too picky at this point, but I draw the line at buying the same 6 characters over and over again.

I'm one of the biggest FIM fans around, and even I am very disappointed. It's the core 6! I want the number of different g3 toys! They're getting more money now then in the g3 era, so they SHOULD be releasing way more characters!!!

Awesome. The main six will probably be most of what we see in singles form. Gotta keep the show characters in stores at all times.

Maybe they'll be the translucent ones...? Probably not, I'm guessing that they'll be the same as the four w/ tinesel currently hitting shelves, but now including the missing two. Oh well, I can dream, right?

I'm actually not as excited anymore about collecting ponies. Luckily, Monster High has been filling that void for me. I wish they'd start releasing more new characters so I could get excited about ponies again. I'd especially love to see more boy ponies.
