I am disappointed.

Love the style, though. Spike is adorable, the eyes are great, and the colors are beautiful. Lots of people on some pony image site do not seem to like it, though.

They seem kinda lifeless, though.

Really? The majority of the Bronies I've heard from adore sea ponies. *shrug*
I'm not sure if I would want sea ponies or not. The only reason I liked them was for their kick-flank song. But hey, if they add sea ponies at some point (or if that fishy-horse is how sea ponies look in G4) then I can dig 'em.

Yeah, Sea Pony Lyra is one of the more popular fan characters. Sea ponies seem to get love.

Eyeroll indeed. It doesn't even look like the other gens.
EQD people get upset at lots of things.

I am sure Hasbro is going to make sea-ponies or mer-mares or something-  they are probably cheaper to manufacture than 4 legged ponies, and they seem to be a frequent re-occurrence with MLP-  I can't wait to find out

I am not surprised or dismayed that there are people whining about the idea, when has there been ANY new MLP idea/story/product/artwork  that did not trigger a whine-fest?
