Possible Sea Ponies in the Future?

I absolutely adore the original sea ponies but it would be awesome to see them come back to life in G4 time! I just hope that they're structured more like the G1 sea ponies and not like the G3 mermaid-ish ponies....

YAY! Sea Ponies are coming back! I hope. Hopefully there isn't a whole lot of negativity in the FiM fanbase though.

The name of the underwater city is cringeworthy though. :C

Well, from at least my group on Facebook, G1 is better received than the other older gens.  It may help I sometimes do G1 Movie Marathons of some of the really good stories.... But even beyond my group, they seem to have fully embraced Firefly and Surprise at least, and many seem to know of at least Tirak and Scorpan.  Sea Ponies...seems it's pretty divided, the people who love them, and the people who don't know what do think of them   I haven't seen any Sea pony hate, maybe people poking fun at 'Shoobedoo', but that's about it.  Sea Pony Lyra seems popular enough!

Lucky. The only reactions I usually see from bronies about G1 is rude hate.
Yeah, hopefully it'll be accepted by a lot of fans.
"Shoobedoo" is often poked fun at by G1 fans so that would be expected.
I never understood how Lyra was dubbed a sea pony. Then again, I don;t understand her apparent "human obsession" either.

I am starting to wonder if these will be merponies, though. The G3 Ponyville line had such a thing. But then again, the G1 little merponies were simply adorable.....
