Sometime around the end of September, I was going through a frustrating time between school, work, family, future, and everyday life in general. One night, I went into my room and decided to paint. Three hours later, I had the beginnings of this little lady and suddenly the frustration had turned into creativity. I had to put her on hold for awhile because of other projects and more life. But now, I am happy to show the final results!

I am very shamelessly biased towards unicorns and my favorite G1 unicorns are Moon Dancer, Glory, and Twilight. Moon Flower came from the idea of mixing together all three of them...but I think she took on a mind of her own.

She has already been sold to my best friend who, upon seeing her headless body and half finished eyes said "this is mine, how much do you want for her?" I couldn't say no to that because this will be the first G4 she has collected (other than the blind bag boys) since I showed her my hobbies.

I used a modified 18/0 Blotter brush from Joanne's that...

; now has about five bristles. Had to trim the bristles to almost nothing because I couldn't find anything tinnier that worked well.

:)Thank you so much for the tip! I finally found an 18/0 brush at Michael's but even that looks too big for such detailed work. Modifying the brush is such a great idea
