I have 4 boxes of series 1 and 4 boxes of series 2 they are open but you will get the same amount of cards as if you were buying a new box including  foils they are still in there card packages just opened. They are $37.80 plus shipping!

The tag at the Walgreens that has had them doesn't say MLP. Mine were stocked on the same peg as the skylander packs. It just said entertainment card pack or something like that. They were indeed by the toys and other trading cards like MTG and Pokemon though.
