name question

Hi everyone and good morning

I am wondering if we are able to change our site name on here? The reason that I am asking is due to getting a divorce over a year ago and still haveing a part of my old last name in my profile name on here.
a is the first letter in my first name
vene was the first four letters in my old last name and
1984 is the year that I was born.

I kind of thought of  amay1984. The is my middle name. I do not want to put my last name in it right now. Due to I might be changing down the road again.

Or you all think that I should just leave it as it is?  I know that all you members that have been on here for sometime now know me by that name. What do you think?

What about changing it to Avenue1984?  It looks close to the original name but you are on a new part of your journey in life so Avenue would be a fitting name.

You could always put a little line in your sig that you changed your name, i saw that with other members. I can understand why you want to change! New life...new name! I hope you can handle it all? X

As to your first question, yes.  Go to Sigs and Site Support on the Navigation bar and post a thread.

As for what it should be, it doesn't matter - you'll put the "formerly known as" in your signature and we'll all get used to it.

As long as you put 'formally known as' in your sig and leave it there, it should be ok changing it to comething else

Thank you everyone I will think about it and see what I want to do. I might even just leave it I guess to. Not sure yet?

What Evie said. It can be changed to anything you want. Everyone will adjust. Especially if you leave your avie and siggy the same.

I am feeling torn about what I want to do......... I have had the same email address to for almost 10 years now. I think that I am going to just keep it so you all know who it is.......    If I do change it down the road I will make sure I keep things so you all know that its still me!
