Need help- not pony related

Hi everyone, I need some advice. Monday I bought a Blythe scalp on Etsy. It was $157 with shipping. The seller has 34 feedbacks all positive, but only one as a seller. The rest are all as a buyer. She doesn't have any shipping or shop policies listed either.

I paid right away and received the automated reciept from etsy and PayPal.

I have yet to hear from the seller. I messaged her yesterday morning on Etsy asking when it would be shipped. This morning I went to her Flickr and messaged her as well. I noticed she hasn't updated Flickr since the end of August. I'm getting really nervous. I know it's only been a few days but this is a lot of money. Should I open a claim or is that jumping the gun? I want the scalp but I can't lose the money either. If it was you, what would you do?

Personally, I'd wait till friday. So I take it on Etsy they don't give you a shipping estimate?

No tracking number and no contact by tomorrow would be my limit personally. Hopefully she'll get back to you.

Well, you have 45 days with paypal to file for your money back, if I am remembering correctly. Just keep that in mind and file before that time is up and you should be fine. :)

I'm with RPB... wait until Friday, or even give her through the weekend, and then go from there.  Very strange that she didn't give a shipping estimate.  If it was just a few dollars, I probably wouldn't be panicking yet, but I don't blame you for feeling a bit nervous.  I hope she gets back to you soon!

Can you try emailing the email address provided by Paypal when you paid?  And see if you can get a response that way.

I agree that I would give it a couple of days.  I mean maybe she shipped it already and is just not responding figuring you'll get it soon.  I am just throwing that out there to give you some positive vibes.

But worst case scenerio, like Maniah mentioned you have 45 days to open a claim with Paypal.  And as long as there is no proof she shipped it they will side in your favor.  I do sympathize with you though.  I just spent $130 on a doll from South Korea that I have been waiting for a month for and they supposedly just shipped it out Tuesday.

She finally responded today and said it would be shipped today. I just can't imagine not sending something when someone spends that much money.

No matter the dollar amount sometimes it's hard to make time to go to the post office every time an item sells. It can take a day or two to find time. Hopefully it gets to you fast :) just stay aware of it and you'll do fine!

I'm glad she has responded now, and  hopefully that means all will end well  :hug: .  I can understand you feeling a bit nervous though since you spent a lot of money

It was that it hadn't shipped, it was the fact that there was no contact from the seller at all!
