Collections has the right to go in and start draining directly from her paycheck, if she is currently employed, until the debt is paid in full.  They are absolutely ruthless.

This is not true, UNLESS the debt collector sues you for access to your bank account, which they probably won't if you arrange some payment plan.  Even if they do get access it would be unusual for them to take 100% of the money.

Going to collections may not be entirely bad as they have the right to NEGOTIATE with you, which means you are often able to knock down the amount you actually have to pay.  ("I can't pay you $600, but I can pay you $400 split over four months" or whatever.)  They're often willing to do this because they "bought" the debt at way less than the amount it's actually worth ($600), so they can make a profit without getting the full $600.  As for the bank, at this point they know they will never get their full $600 back--because the debt collector is going to take a big share of any money that you pay.   Let's say you did pay the $600, they might only get $300 back.   They have given up on that.

DJOctaviaSymphony, here's a link about your rights regarding collections:

I am definatly up for any ideas and trying to come up with a few more myself. Would not be opposed at all to returning all items sent or whatnot. I really wish there was a better alternative to Paypal :(

I'd be more than happy to have my item returned with tracking.  I've stated before that this is more than an acceptable solution.

An alternative would be post office money orders.

sigh... how disgusting.

It seems like she was stringing everyone along so that they were outside the 45 day limit.

If you paid by credit card you can try doing a charge back.

I'm so sorry for everyone that lost something :(

What a turd in the punch bowl.   Ill be looking into legal actuion if my items not returned ASAP.  Thanks again for finally outing her.  What dose not make sence to me is that she had a chance to walk away with more of my items but she settled on the one thankfully.

Well, looks like it could be time to bring up this link again: Internet Crimes Complaint Center  The IC3 is a division of the FBI. Filing a complaint with them will guarantee action will be taken. This is Ponyadore/DJOctaviaSymphony's second scam session with us. There is every reason to believe the second time was done with malicious intent, especially when she was offering to sell/trade items and using photos stolen from auctions.

If you are missing money or items from her, I highly recommend you file with the Internet Crimes Complaint Center.

Great link Eskara!  I would assume with this being her second offense, something can be done.

If anyone is going to file which I advise also that you do and you need her persoanl information, please PM me.
