New G1 shirt at Walmart!

I might also buy this as a night shirt, but I would never wear it in public.  I'd have too many people giving me weird looks or asking me what "bronies" means.  And yes, totally strange that they would use G1 artwork for a "bronies" t-shirt.

This.  Clearly they don't know what a Brony is.  I love the shirt but I wouldn't wear it because I am not a Brony and both Bronies and other mlp fans will think I don't know what a Brony is.

This was exactly my thought - do they KNOW what Bronies think of the old generations? It ain't pretty.

Altogether, not my favorite shirt. The softness of the ponies doesn't mesh well with the sharp angles of the lettering. G4 might have ALMOST worked (with a brighter color pallet and more modern, angular character designs), but G1? Nope.

I'm not wild about the "I Love Bronies" either.  Why can't it just say "I Love Ponies"?  Then again, I don't like girls/women's t-shirts that flaunt flirty messages.

Oh geez, I hate this kind of shirt.  Not just because of the "bronies usually don't like older generations" thing.  But because it's all about how girls react to boys.  The Batman shirt popyduggan mentioned is a good example.

I remember seeing a pink and green neon Batman shirt in the women's section the other day that said, "I love bad boys!", which to me communicates "I'm tacky and willing to date parolees!".

Note how it can't just be a Batman shirt, with Batman on it, for girls to wear like a normal fan.  It has to be about how the girl wants go get into Batman's bat-pants.

This is even dumber because they took images from a female-oriented toyline and turned it into "girls love . . . these guys over here who love ponies."  Seriously, girls aren't even allowed to like ponies anymore without being expected to spew some generic lust into the atmosphere?
