Does nobody want G3s?

I've noticed that it's very hard to sell or trade G3 ponies in this community. Even on eBay they don't seem to sell for much based on what I've seen. I have been picking them up at flea markets recently for trading purposes but I am finding that people are practically giving them away and it seems like it was a waste of my money to pick up these ponies. I have almost all G3s released in the US so I am going to only pick up ones that I don't have from now on I suppose.

Has anyone else noticed this?

i perosnaly love  g3s  lol i'm trying to  fill out my collection.  i think that they  might just be more common then  the g1s? there the ones i find most often. then agiani love anyhting shiny  or sparkly

Well considering how common most G3s are, and the economy the way it is, it's no wonder people can't shift them. Also it seems to me that G2 is having a bit of a surge in popularity lately, so maybe that combined with the G4 craze doesn't leave much room for G3 on the market? But there are exceptions. The unicorns seem quite popular, and the babies. Also we have the rares like Caribbean Delight, Beach Belle, Tinka Too II, Ribbons & Hearts etc.

But on the whole the market for G3 is indeed very bad, and I don't see it getting any better, unless the economy does.

I'd love to be getting g3's but I really don't want to have to pay shipping from overseas, unless I bought a bulk box, and I can't really afford that right now. Tis unfortunate, as it's really a buyers market atm, but we're all in the same boat I guess!

I've noticed. I've had a bunch of G3s (like 3 garbage bags full) for a long time now and even when I clean them up I can't seem to sell them for $2 or even less.

It always makes me sad when people buy my G1s and I'm sitting on my mountain of G3s saying "But those aren't the ones I want to see go! T___T"

maybe..do a  b1 g0 or a buy 2 get 1 type thing or free g 3 with purchae?

Yeah I've noticed that too. If I get G3s mixed in with lots of G1s I sell them on... or at least I try to! They usually go in the end but not for very much.

yup! they arent worth anything really. not worth the trrouble of selling anyways.
 i have a box in my car at all times to give to any little girls i may encounter

I want them but only certain ones like I'm missing Fun Fairy, I want BeachBelle, rainbow Bubbles and Snowdrop Swirl...rare ones really. I also want the Disney princess ones.

Really, I want nearly all of the G3s, but I can't afford to buy anything right now ! That, and I still give priority to G1s... Although sometimes I see a lonely G3 girl on Ebay and I just have to give her love <3

I personally love G3s and really I just started collecting them recently so I've been buying, I do unfortunately have limited room though. All my G3s must fit in one bookshelf and I have it pretty well calculated how many more I can fit and have narrowed down my wishlist accordingly, unfortunately most of the ones I chose to keep on the wishlist are proving to be troublesome to find
