G3 screenshots, lore, and random stuff

I'm still peeved they didn't make all those cool unicorns and the background pegasi from "Friends Are Never Far Away".  Especially the unicorns, though.

The good thing about the glut of Earth pony toys in G3 was that they could make every single background pony in Ponyville based on a real toy.  With the other pony species, anyone who wasn't named aloud was just crowd filler that never had a toy, much like all the G1 ponies with no symbols that weren't Baby Ember.

Those random unicorns DO have names  Tomato is called Apple Flitter and Cloud Face is Feeling Flitter (they all have Flutter,Flitter or Shine in their names )

also despite watching the specials quite a few times I never noticed that Zipzee actually had Spring AND Fall allergies, she's just alergic to all the seasons isn't she

A couple G3 ponies never got toys at all. This is of Fiesta Flair and an ice-skating pony who may have a toy; I don't know.

Yay G3 screenshots!! \o/

It's true a lot of the ponies the OC mentioned did actually get made into toys (yes those ponies in the cartoon are Glitter Glide, Gem Blossom, Meadowbrook, and Moondancer), but yeah I can see why you'd be confused because as Bag of Magic Food said, some of them don't look exactly like their toy counterparts.

I just googled Gem Blossom. I DO have her posed with Forsythia! I love the coincidence.

I just remembered something else G3 Spike said; he said there hasn't been a new princess because he was asleep. Also, while Zipzee sniffed the flower, she didn't actually touch it like Wysteria did--it also didn't cause allergies.

I also noticed some background ponies were seen throughout the specials and even gained or lost wings/horns depending on who they were. That means Hasbro must've known they wouldn't have toys made of them.

Sigh...all those nice unicorn designs they had there...I honestly don't care for the G3 cartoons but the ponies are so pretty. I definitely wish they released more unicorns.

I didn't know G3 Applejack was in a cartoon! I'd love to see a screenshot of her if someone has it..
