Teresat - those are all great ideas! Definitely keeping yourself busy is a good idea. And we should all share progress. I am on day 2 as well, so far it's okay but I haven't spotted anything I MUST BUY yet, so...

The best I managed was an agreement with the Boyf that restricting ponies meant not buying anything from the internet G1, 2 or 3 before Ponycon. However brand new from the shops g4s were allowed.

Very little will power in this house. But you go guys!!! ^_^

Joining in! I'm seriously putting myself on a spending ban for a good long while (I'm still a... young adult? lol. Basically of the age where the only stuff I need to spend money on is stuff I want. No bills yet). I went a little crazy after my birthday with buying, and now I need to be done until around Christmas. I want to see Phantom on Broadway so badly for the 25th anniversary. And I really want to save up to get good seats. Haven't bought ponies in a while, but my official ban begins today.

I am just trying to save my poor bank account. And also as it gets into winter my heating bill will sky rocket again *eyeroll*. Being warm and having a non-damp flat is probably more important than ponies.

enolaalone.  i got this  castle thingy. lol  and a  couple g3s  and a couple ponyville  adn a g 3.5  nothing super spectacular.. but my mom  bought mt  shining  armour and candacde FS sweetie bells train  car, the tea set  and the sccooting freinds for christmas.  (only becuase we had a coupon)  i got a  email  coupon from TRU lol   and  now  back to not buying.. lol  and hten we went to target and i saw the FS ones. and i was like o.o *grabby  hands*  so yeah >.> i  actualy picked up the favorites collection went.. no  *put it back*  lol  but i'm over all happy with waht shes gotten me!  were going to  hope that  for black friday they put  some of them on  clerance.  never  know.

lol after the pony spree we had yestreday  mom said no more new ponys for awhile xD  that we'll have to resort to yard sales and stuff.. lol which is fine!  ^^  sometiem syou get lucky. at fla markets

  teresat the first few days are hard!  but stay away from ebay and  ry to control your urges.  and   then it gets easier! lol  bu ti belive that my pony buying is  satified for now. lol  i know its so hard  i cna't bleive i made it three weeks! but yes i did  i was like o.o...  and it was half off!

but ponys are therepeutic for me. i enjoy brushing there hair and washing them.  and getting all pretty pony spa!!

At the moment im still receiving ponies I bought before I started the challenge, and I finished up a couple of outstanding purchases (if I'd already made enquiries then I could buy them, rather than mess people about). I have one more payment to make tomorrow & then I think it will start to get hard! I haven't looked at eBay yet tho.

I'm waiting for a few more deliveries too. I've got to stop looking at the For Sale and Nirvana forums as well as Ebay. I'm testing my will power!
