Oh wow!
I stopped following the pony news because I don't like G4 and couldn't be excited by what was coming out (the toys, I do like the show). Then I thought let's just check what Hasbro did in the meantime. HAH NICE SURPRISE A male pony that actually looks male, awesome! Been looking forward to that for so long, and I really like the way they did it (troll-haired one, not the styling one). He looks male and also quite handsome eventhough that's a bit strange to say about a pony.
So, I love Shining Armour

Does anyone have a pic of him with a G3? I'd love to see a comparison of their sizes

grate minds think alike   She was just the nearest pony to the Estates where I take all my photos- they do look nice together though. I can't believe it took so long for someone to get a photo up. I saw this earlier but needed to go to town so I just figured someone else would get to it before i got home.

So he's a little shorter than G3's, that's a pity, but it does not look awefully strange in combination

Yes, I know what you mean about size...its odd - sometimes I wonder if when you see them side by side if you could ever even tell they are part of the same toy line.

He is smaller since all the G4's are smaller than the other gen.

They also make him in the larger G4 style size, though they gave him a big mowhawk but it's regular hair instead of that troll hair. I honestly hate the troll hair and didn't buy the castle set simply because I really dislike the troll hair.

I dont like the troll hair either but in as many ways the mohawk annoys me too - I may bang on about it in every thread there is a discussion but Mountain Boys and Big Brothers carried of "real pony hair" in the 80s, why cant SA now? He needs a long flowing mane and only then will I be happy
