I was wondering how their payment system works, because I paid yesterday and it showed as pending. Now it's completely gone. I haven't been billed or payed for shipping yet. Does it all come out together when you pay for the shipping too? I'm so confused.

Did you buy directly from Taobao or did you use an agent?

As teresat says its going to depend if you paid direct or if you used an agent - if the latter which agent did you use and what payment system were you directed to use?

I used TaobaoNow.com. I believe that's an agent.

You make 2 payments, the original price for the items and shipping to them, then they'll invoice you for the shipping to you.  Was it pending on their site?  I'm wondering, if it's just pending on their own site, and disappeared, if they just need to get it updated.  It's the weekend so maybe it's in limbo while they're out of the office?  Either way, just add a comment to your order asking about it, they've always been very nice to me, and pretty quick.  I really like taobaonow, they make it easy to track the progress of your order, and are easy to communicate with.

How did you make payment with them - what system?

The items will no longer appear in your shopping basket after you have paid but should appear in your order history - and the little icons to the side of each order will tell you the status on each item.

Is the item  you paid for in your order history? And if it is what icon is highlighted beside it?

I use them too and they are having a few issues I believe. Their paypal wasn't working and my payment button had disappeared. Now when I go to their site they have a message saying they're moving servers so it may be something to do with that

I also had difficulty with payment to Taobaonow.com as their payment button did not work for me and I had to keep checking my Paypal account for the money request. Everything worked out for me. I just kept communicating with them.

The site problems I mentioned seem to be resolved now but still haven't had a paypal request for the second payment so not sure if their paypal account is still down?
