Yeah, the Minty my mother ordered for me arrived today... Now she's exploring her new home

Acquire metal loft at Walmart.com.  As there is no bed underneath, rain is not an issue.  Except maybe for the cat sleeping on the giant stuffed monkey that's there.  That could get interesting.

Oh lawdy, I do this with some of mine and the fridge.
Since we moved, I put them all on the mantle instead.
