Good call catching this. But how is one to know if they are dealing with an underage trader? There is someone I am dealing with, whom someone I know is dealing with also. And she said that the person seemed rather young.. So .. what are the signs? What do you do if you suspect? I would hate to report someone on a haunch and then be wrong.

I don't know that she necessarily scammed anyone that we know of....yet. She did come through on a few transactions, so we are hoping she will come through on the rest.

In the future, if you send cash or a money order through the mail, I would recommend sending it priority flat rate.  That comes with automatic indemnity of $70 (for domestic) as well as tracking.  It costs a few dollars extra but at least the person can't claim that it never arrived, and if it does get lost, you will have a recourse.

Hmmm- I just went to usps.com to try and find the free indemnity for priority flat rate, and don't see it.  Maybe the policy has changed.  Well, free tracking is still provided- so that is still what I would use if I had to send mula in the mail.

Yes, she was lying about her age. In her first account, she said she was 15. When her attempts at trading were stopped by the mods, she signed up with a new account and said she was 16.
