When mine was posted the seller bubble wrapped all the bits and put it in one large box.
I found that it was useful to have all the accessories for a particular room wrapped in bubble wrap and placed inside for shipping, that way when i opened everything it was easy to check it was all there :)

When I bought mine the seller posted it in its original box wrapped in brown paper...something I wasn't too thrilled about but it arrived safe and sound.  She wrapped the accessories together in plastic bags and packed them into the building.  I was only charged $20 or $30 for shipping.

I am sorry you are having to sell - hugs

As others have suggested "breaking" the set up into as small sections as possible [probably including separating out the "glass" in the canopy] and then bubble wrapping everything to excessive levels especially the crackable elements of the building - and then use packing peanuts or styrofoam or air packing to ensure nothing presses against one another in transit...oh and write Fragile all over the box!

I think you would save on shipping if you did one big box. It's really not all that heavy.

I would definitely bubblewrap the roof parts and the accessories. The buildings are pretty sturdy and if you but a bubblerap layer in the box before you but the buildings in, it should be fine :)

Flat pack the box inside the box you send the PE in.

Or if no one wants the box, I would buy it ( depending on postage cost) you could send it folded up :)

You should offer the box along with the set as you may find that helps sell it...and if not sell it to Party and I ll ambush and "borrow" it from her post man as he is on route to deliver :P

I'd take the whole thing off your hands and the box... mwah ah ha ha ha...

I think everyone has some great shipping advice. Remember if you do ship to Europe USPS really doesn't offer tracking... scary!
