No, they were just made by some designer company and are based off the FiM line. The "cutie mark" is the designer's logo, a pretzel. He calls it Twist, which I find hilarious.

I kind of like the silver and blue one, but yeah... plated metal is no good for me!  And I certainly could not afford a non-plated one if they ever made them...
