US Postal service woes! Update!

Instead of hijacking another thread I'll start another.

Sorry for the rant.

Right now I'm waiting for a package from the UK that's registered mail. It's last update was July 23 in New York. This package is going on 3 weeks on arriving here. I've had other packages from the UK and Sweden and Finland sent later already arrive on my doorstep. I never have packages from the UK take this long. Tornado is in the package!!    It's not big. One pony but precious to me anyway! 

I sent another package for a trade. Priority Mail. Across the San Francisco Bay. Didn't have far to go. Made it all the way to the destination town post office. Then marked "missent." Now I don't know what's happening. My pony from the trade already arrived! 

What happens if it lands on my doorstep? Do I have to pay again to resend? But right now I just hope the ponies are okay.

I don't know if it will make you feel any better but I have heard they are really cracking down at the US borders.  Because going by what you stated it looks like Tornado is stuck in customs.

In regards to the package that was marked 'missent'.  Typically - an item 'missent', should still be delivered-albeit later than expected. It just depends on why it was missent(like a zip code or some human error either on the sender's or postal worker's part)

If it were me - I'd hold out hope for it in the next couple of days.  There is a chance that it will still be delivered and not sent back to you.

Tornado arrived today!

The ponies in the trade arrived in good order at their destination today.
