So upset with Hasbro right now...Comic Con was an absloute nightmare!

Hasbro has done a lot of good things lately, but this is definitely one of the more senseless things. If they've got their heads on straight, they'll realize how popular she is (and how much money they could make on her) and make her a regular release.

I was unable to go but I would have been very upset if I was in your shoes.
If it was like the monster high doll people could pre order about 6 prior to attending the con.
I believe this was a horrible idea, it should be first come first severe.  No one needed to walk away with 6 and yet some sellers on ebay were selling 20+.
I bought one off ebay and hopefully they'll pull through I figure it was worth the extra not to have to play the line ride and buy tickets to a con where you can't look around.

I wish they would too, I'd love to have her in regular pony size!  The Fashion Style wings have always seemed a bit off to me.  But based on what I read on EQD about Hasbro's reply that they probably won't even be giving her lines anymore, it seems doubtful

The limit was 3 per person, so HASBRO did try to control it, but people were just buying anything they could get their hands on, it was insane!

Later i spotted one on some toy sellers stand, and he was trying to charge $150 for her, literally a couple of hours affter buying her for $22, its disgusting!

It ruins comic con in the end.  People walk away unhappy and other people go just to make a quick buck.

I still think there's no reason they couldn't say one per person and no pre orders.  I know dealers would still work around it but it's a better system then what they have.

That's par for the course for SDCC, unfortunately. Long lines and a lot of time it means people miss out on things - whether it's items or panels. The distribution does seem a bit unfair at times, but the items sold at comic con are always sold in very limited quantities. They are exclusive, limited edition items. The process was never designed so that every single person who wants one could get one. It does stink that people then turn around and sell the items for way higher prices, but that's always a part of limited edition collectibles, unfortunately.

I hope you find a way to enjoy your trip anyway. SDCC can be a ton of fun when you don't let yourself get too caught up in all the madness and price hikes.

Well that's terrible, although I can't say surprising. Even besides all the reselling for ridiculous prices, don't forget all the people who accepted "preorders" for others. But is that true that vendors have no limit to how many they can buy? If so, that's pretty messed up.

I know there's a lot of people who want this pony, but maybe if a large enough group refuse to pay those high prices on eBay, the price will have to come down? Doesn't really make up for having a bad time waiting in lines for nothing, but maybe it's something...

I know, they really messed up Don't think they are going to have any leftover for their site, even if they do I'm betting their servers won't be able to hold and it'll crash.

for the most part, the ebay prices really aren't too bad right now, especially considering she's an exclusive. Previous year SDCC exclusives are about her price. The 100+ BIN ones are crazy though.
