They wrote about her in magazines my husband reads, so I could see random pop culture collectors wanting her too like someone said. 

Edited to add:  I saw one on ebay with a show accurate hair cut already.

I know!!! But when I was at MLP Fair I saw some Bronies de-boxing her!!! Right there on the floor too! I bet some went home and cut her hair too! How horrible! I would NEVER put scissor near my fashion styles, and NEVER Ditzy Doo! My current Ditzy Doo is in her box being diplayed in my family's display cabnet.

I admit that if I get her, she's coming out of her box. I just spent all of this effort to find her, so you better believe I'm brushing her hair and playing with her!

I am trying to get another one so I can de-box her! Everytime I look at her I WANNA BRUSH THAT GOLDEN HAIR!!!! lol. And also display her with my other Fashion Styles.

Yeah, I'd actually love to see one with properly styled hair. It isn't something I'd do (My Rainbow Dash has curls that don't fit the show's character at all, haha.) but I think she'd look pretty nice with it.

I doubt there was ever a plan for a Dizzy brushable size, or if there was it must have gotten canned at the planning stage. If even a basic prototype had been made, someone from the factory would have grabbed it and put it up on taobao by now.

I saw a custom using a  fashion style applejack on ebay about a month ago, and it was absolutely gorgeous, but I was like "WHY NOT USE ONE OF THE FIVE MILLION FLUTTERSHYS?!?!?!?!?!??!??!" ergh.

I customized a FS Applejack for a trade because I wanted my friend to be able to play with her without paint chipping off. Anyways, Applejack isn't rare, she's just expensive because nobody wants to wait until she's rereleased this fall. I found her on TaoBao for like 20 bucks sooooo...

I don't know if the Derp with the fair sticker is worth more, but I'd personally keep that one in her box.  It seems more special somehow.

saply, there's no saying what accessories Applejack will be released with when they put her out again. If the accessories are totally different then yes, she'll be considered rare. She was put out in quite few numbers.

I actually have cut a few of my G4's hair, (like my FS Rainbow Dash) but I could never cut an exclusive's hair.
