Mismatched mane & tail

I saw a snuzzle that had pink mane and purple tail - is this just a rehair mishap or is there some variants that exist with mismatched mane/tail?

It's really easy to pop a new tail into a pony if the washer inside gets loose. That's probably what happened to your Snuzzle. If her mane had been an odd color it's more likely to be either rehaired or some kind of factory error, but tail swaps are generally not factory.

I have seen a couple of French ponies with mismatched tail and mane (Glory comes to mind, where it matches her stripe rather than the purple), but as kkv says, generally it's not factory done.
