airbrush question (tried the search)
« on: June 27, 2012, 06:08:45 AM »
I was just wondering if anyone uses
Testors Mighty Mini Starter Airbrush with Compressor Set 9169

Comments wanted. I plan for this to be my first airbrush (and probably only), as it seems to be reasonable price, anywhere from 70-120$ depending on the site. I would only be doing FBR with it, no detail. So I don't need anything fancy. My only concern is that there is no tube from the bottle to the spray. So the bottle sits on the table you don't have much room to move?? I would be afraid the bottle would come off it is picked up, maybe a tube could be hooked up? but then that would likely change the pressure or consistency of moving paint?

The bottle is attached to the airbrush itself, the only limit in movement is the length of the tube running from the airbrush to your compressor.

Great question, great answer!  Airbrushing is a lot of fun, but there is so much technical stuff to learn!  It's worth the time :)  Can't wait to see your airbrushed ponies!
