1. You must have 5 5-star arena feedback and no 1/2-star arena feedback.
2. You must have been an arena member for at least 3 months before sign ups are over.
3. You must have pictures of at least 3 of your most recent customs and/or re-hairs to show the quality of your work. This is a skill based swap and I need to know how to pair you.
4. Along with your sign up, you must send a list of 20-25 ponies that you would love to see with spanking new hair. Please try to stick to ponies that are relatively common and likely to already be in someone's bait box, or at least easy to find on the secondhand market. A word on value: Do not ask for a re-haired Mimic, you know better than that. Keep the ponies you suggest valued at roughly $15-$20 or less in good condition. If you want to do more than one pony, yay! If you don't want to do more than one pony, that's fine too! This is where this is a little more like a Holiday Swap than a custom swap in that you can do as many as you want while staying around $15-$20 or less spend on the baits.
4a. If you want to alter symbols, fix flaws, etc. Go right ahead. The main point is that we should still be able to tell who the pony was originally. Making Applejack's apple red or green is fine. Changing them completely to oranges, not so much. That being said,
you do not HAVE to do anything but re-hair. If you want to have more than one partner (ie - guarantee that you
receive more than one re-haired pony), let me know and I will enter you twice.
5. Ship on time! Life happens, as we all know. Let me know as SOON as you realize you will be shipping late.
6. No shipping early! Shipping addresses will be withheld to prevent this. The exception will be when your partner is ready to ship as well.
7. Be prepared with progress pics at progress date. Since this is an alternate rehair swap and not a typical custom swap, the dates are a little, shall we say, faster than the usual custom swap.
8. Send me pictures of your completed re-hair before you ship.
9. Let me know right away when you ship your pony and when you receive one.
10. Do not let anyone know who your partner is. It is a secret.
11. Extras are not required, but are welcome. However, do not go overboard with these. This is about the ponies. A small treat/gift or 2 is fine and good but not too much.
12. This swap is mainly a G1-swap. Be mindful of that when listing ponies you would like to see re-haired. Having a few G3s or G4s in the mix is OK, but the list should be primarily G1s.
13. You must be in no more than 2 other swaps (total of 3).
14. The title of your PM should be Legolas, so I know you read the rules.
15. PM the sign up form to me (red_velvet_rose) by the sign up deadline.
16. You must check in for the final check in. If you do not check in, I do not give you the address of your partner, nor will you be receiving a pony.
17. You need to be able to produce proof of shipping when asked. You need to hold onto your receipt until your partner confirms that they have received their pony. I also highly recommend delivery confirmation for those not shipping internationally.
