Why are there so many idiots on ebay?

I have in ALL my auctions that I will not cancel auctions, you win it, you own it. Not to upset people, becuase I am not forcing your arm to place a bid, I am not the one that didn't ask for a postage quote, and I am not the one that left ebay opened while my daughter / son / niece / nephew / brother / sister or other child decided to buy something on my account.

I also did not ask you to bid on my item, I had no message / too late a message from you about postage.

Why the hell do people bid on something, especially from overseas without knowing what the actual postage is?

I have an item at the moment that is going to cost around $26AU to send overseas. I am not making a cent on postage, I never do. The person bid the item up, and now feels she wants to back out. I have had this happen so many times, I am really over it. Why click the "confirm bid" button? Just, dont bid!

I would never dream about bidding on an item that does'nt have a clear quote stated in the description or specifics >__<

How annoying!! If they don't want to pay the shipping then they shouldn't bid. If they're afraid of paying too much for shipping, ASK before you bid! Why is that so hard for some people? It's annoying for us sellers

Because there are lots of idiots in the world! and unfortunately they figured out how to use ebay!

Most of them have at least an estimate, all of them have "please message me before bidding for an exact postage quote to your location" or something along those lines. I also have in large caps "you win it, you own it".

There are alot of people that are just gorgeous, I just really don't get why I need to suffer because you are stupid lol.

I also prefer not to know about your crappy situation, thats what friends and family are for. Please go and vent to them, not some random person you brought something from

I think I just needed to vent a bit, yet again. At the moment all I want is just a little extra cash coming in, I really am not asking for much.

Sorry you're going through that.  All sorts of problems on eBay right now, it seems. 

As a buyer one of the FIRST things I do is look at shipping costs.  As far as I'm concerned, that's part of the total cost of the item, so it's wise to check.  If the shipping costs seem especially steep (i.e. a U.S. seller asking $47.00 S&H to send a single pony to the UK), I will send the seller an e-mail as long as there's enough time left before the auction ends.  If not, I have the benefit of being an American living overseas, so if I don't like their international S&H costs, I can just get it sent to my mom's house.
