Yup! Far too many NPBs around atm. Just have to chalk it up to experience and move on sadly. However, please please please do the NPB process! Even if ebay aren't doing anything to these idiots any more it at least means you get your FVF back - if you just cancel the sale or relist without doing anything then you are out money - which is more than unfair!

I have a zero feedback ebayer bidding on one of my items right now:(  I am seriously hoping that if they win, they will actually pay.

You never know, this person might win and pay immediately.  At one point we were all ebayers with zero feedback and just needed sellers to give us a chance.  ^.^ Of course, it's never fun to be the seller who has to deal with a non-paying newbie (or even not-so-newbie) buyer.  Let us know how it turns out!

Sorry...I thought I had mentioned in an earlier post, I did complain to ebay customer support about one of the buyers simply as the hoops they had made me jump through after the auction were nonsense...thats when I learned about the change in policy for NPBs no longer affecting an account. I think what makes it so frustrating is that you do everything for a buyer because if you even remotely annoy them then you will get bad feedback or [sometimes worse as ebay will no little about it] they can leave you super low DSRs. Its why I hate opening NPBs to start with...as because you have that cooling off period to allow someone to pay...what happens if they are annoyed at you for opening the case and retaliate with feedback - yes the feedback can be removed but sometimes its a fight I believe and they wont do much about DSR value either.

Yup, I can also confirm eBay won't suspend accounts for NPB. :/

They were outbid, and the winner paid.  I have the rest of my stuff up as BIN with immediate payment required.  I realize we were all 0 feedback folks at one point in time, but it's hard to trust people:(.   It's nothing personal what so ever.

9__9 Ugh, I had a ebay buyer pay  an instant payment BiN. She asked a question about the auction, as in, she should of asked before she bid. I told her no, and she asked me to cancel the transaction because she was no longer interested.
I'd post a name, but I don't want to until ebay agrees to the transaction.
Just happened. Not amused. But she has more than 0 feedback. I really wish ebay would punish people for NPB and this sort of thing.

Glad to hear they were outbid so you didn't have to worry about it.  And I hear ya, it can be hard to trust people.  But I've had great luck with first-time buyers and sellers as well as horrible luck with buyers and sellers with tons of good feedback.  So I suppose it's the luck of the draw, really.  But yes... glad it all worked out in the end. :)
