Sundae Best versions

As a proud owner of a small Sundae Best army I'd like to ask a question about versions.
 
I know that there is a German version of Swirly Whirly and Coco Berry. I also know about the different Mexican versions of Banana Surprise, Swirly Whirly and Peppermint Crunch (purple haired version and normal colour scheme version).
 
But what about Hong Kong vs. China? Is there a Hong Kong and a China version of each Sundae Best Pony? Or only of some? And can you say that f.e. ponies sold in Germany are stamped "China" and ponies sold in the UK are marked "Hong Kong" or something like that? Is there a rule?

I think they were out in the HK/China switchover year, but I don't think there's a clear cut divide. I had two as a child, both bought in the UK on UK card. One is HK, the other is China. I suspect it is just a matter of which batch went where and when. There should be both HK and China versions of each of the Sundaest Ponies.

Hmmm, now that is a good question!! I would hazard a guess of no, but I have nothing to back that up! It might be worth asking everyone what their German Sundae Best ponies feet say

Well, all my German versions are marked China, but I guess that's not really proof.^^ Where are all the MOC owners?
 
Oh, and how do you tell the US and UK card apart? I know that some of the ponies' names were different in the UK, but what about the others?

i don't think there were any difference other than the names ... but i would be wrong, you might be better asking in the corral!

The cards have different artwork on them, but I don't think there was any difference in the ponies themselves

I checked my mint on German card Peppermint Crunch and she's China (at least I think so - her tail was in the way), and so is my UK carded Sorbet Surprise. I didn't think about checking them before!

I can be sure now that there were China and Hong Kong versions of every "normal" Sundae Best pony. What I still would like to figure out: Are all German versions marked China. I haven't been able to find a single one that isn't.
