No it was actually easy, I used a flat head screw driver and scissors to pry the area open.

yay its so nice to see that it can be done. XD i started a thread a while ago on making one but i got sidetracked. im making a Sundance. =P did you open her all the way up or just the area around the mane? does her trigger still work? =] ooh and about how many hanks of hair did you use? im trying to decide how many i need =P
she looks really great! im so thrilled to see one done. =D
