I can't believe that. Thats just horrible. I am so sorry. I would be over the top mad and frustrated. It sounds like they want the item but just don't have the money. I have a 48 hour hold policy and I won't hold for longer than that unless the person has lots of good feedback. I kind of expect the worst sometimes when dealing with buyers. Lets hope they pay...as its the right thing to do. Taking advantage of a seller is just wrong. Does ebay have a setting on their auctions where you can make the buyer pay for an items if they use the bin option? I know I use to do that in the past where it places a little notice underneath the price. Then when you bin you are directed to paypal to pay and if you don't the auction continues as usual. If this buyer doesn't pay my first thought to you is that if you put the items back up on ebay you really need to add that payment required for Bin to protect yourself. They could set up a new id and try again if you don't. Also block e checks through paypal and block the bidder...but remember you can block a bidder id..but if they set up a new one they will not be blocked on your account.

tulagirl How do you block echecks through paypal? I've had several buyers pay using an echeck to only wait for it to clear and 90% of the time, they don't. I hate echecks but asked paypal about blocking them and they said you can't.

I did some research on this and found in Paypal -> profile -> my selling tools -> Getting paid and managing my risk -> block payments:

[checkbox] Block the following payments:
Pay with eCheck or German bank transfer for all website payments except eBay. NOTE: You may not block eCheck payments on eBay.

If you open a non-payment dispute eBay will refund you the final sale value fee xxxx

I once wrote in my ebay listing description "No EChecks" and ebay blocked me listing my item until I removed it!

It sadens me to read about so many unreasonable and bluntly said, mean people around.

Those ponies should not go to her! They are way too precious to go to such an unfair person!

I looked that up a bit ago as I didn't think you could block them either. And that's exactly what I found too.

I actually understand why Ebay wouldn't want to sellers to block e-checks. Personally, even if you could I don't think it would be such a good idea since some buyers don't keep money in their paypal accounts. I have no problems with an e-check...

However, I do have a problem with buyers that tell me to wait x amount of time to pay me. I almost always open a case regardless of what their excuse was.

Any updates OP?

A little update.... Still no word from Aniko79 on the arena or ebay. I have messaged on ebay to say she has until tomorrow to pay. However, I am aware that there are at least two other arena members that have had trouble with her.

Ugh why do people don't understand it! If you don't have the money don't bid on a item! Sorry you have to go through all of this. And I am sad to hear that they have more not payed items on there name. But I am glad that ebay is investigating her.

Does anyone know how many unpaid item strikes it takes to get someone booted off ebay?
Is there a set number or is it decided on a case by case basis?
I am just so sick of dealing with non-paying bidders personally and hearing about other arena members being jerked around by them.
I am hoping that ebay is proactive in kicking them off!
