Ebay morning wake-up
« on: August 20, 2012, 07:40:08 AM »
I have Ebay email me ponies I'm interested in buying.

These were in my inbox this morning.

Do a search on

"my little pony sports time" and
"my little pony berrytown"

My first thought was "really?"  I know they are not common but ?

They're not even the same seller.

Enjoy! ;)
 >_<^.^

I knew exactly which auction for Berrytown you were referring to without even looking, nearly fell off my chair when I saw that yesterday!

OK I saw the ridiculously priced Daddy Berrytown but I didn't see a Sports Time that was out of the ordinary. What was he listed for?

I didn't see an overpriced Sports Time either but WOW that Berrytown one is overpriced O.o

Lately I've seen some insane prices on MLP auctions on Ebay though so I'm not really that surprised anymore :P It does make you wonder though what the sellers are thinking.

Heh heh could be! Sports time is worth a bit more than that though, isn't it? It was a UK exclusive I thought!
Thank you Thimble for my amazingly cute avatar!

If they are, they should be using our wonderful Price Check resources before posting their sale listings!  ;)  Unless it was a really good typo... but Ebay still charges fees based on how much the item sells for, so listing it high first is not always the best plan.

Hey...they can ask cant they? Doesnt mean they'll get it! :P

A quick price check or old auction check can get most sellers, even if they dont know what they are selling, a rough average or even a maximum to aim for. But we are all entitled to sell and price our ponies as we wish as they are after all "our" ponies. And a sensible buyer can just as easily do a price check to find out what they should be paying and then can avoid over priced auctions. Mind you...anyone remember when the Loving Families Daddies were still like hens teeth on an open market - I remember paying a fortune for Meadowsweet because he never seemed to drop below about $100.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi
