Last year in September, I was selling a bunch of my extra things at low prices due to upcoming moves, one of which was over seas.  I didn't want all my doubles going into storage, so I was just trying to clear out.


sugarapplecutie28 contacted me regarding some rainbow dash merchandise I had, however the postage from Australia was more than twice the asking price of the items so I offered a trade.  She took over 2 weeks for her to get back to me with pictures of her side of the trade, and then another 2 weeks before she confirmed she was happy with the trade (she kept umming and ahhing and asking me for extra things). 


I posted of my side of the trade with an extra exclusive RD magnet from my own collection.  Then I promptly forgot about it.  In January around the time that the thread about her appeared on the old arena, I realised that I had never received my end of the trade (I blame the general stress I was under because of finishing uni, my dog dying, and moving).  I pmed her asking if she got my end of the trade (as she never let me know) and if she had proof of purchase.  I got one reply saying yes she had received my end, and no she didn't have proof of purchase, and then then the arena went down. 

When the arena came back she sent sporadic replies to me offering to pay due to not having proof of postage, or a new trade item, but never actually paying or offering me anything to trade.  I am down around $35 all up

I currently don't expect anything from her.  But I am starting this thread so people are aware of what happened as a warning about dealing with her.  And maybe she'll see it and actually pay me.

Sugarapplecutie28 is on my facebook.  If you have FB i can PM you her name and perhaps you might be able to work this out through there?  Not everyone can access the arena regularly but most people have FB access from their mobiles?

You can try.  I feel like as this has been going on for 9 months now, even if you don't check regularly we should have had it sorted out.  I've given her my paypal details at least 2 times now.

Me too. Sadly she didn't took more responsibility or didn't communicate more with you. Don't promise pay due when you never actually gonna pay :/

I am sorry to hear that this has been going on for 9 months with no resolve.
 
She hasn't signed in here since March 25th but I would try sending another PM or wait to see if Spinky can get ahold of her.  Hopefully she will try and resolve this because you should not be out the money or merchandise.

 Thanks Spinky and Stern - if you could contact sugarapplecutie that would be great     I know she had some RL problems, as well as some problems with item getting returned to her at one point last year.. but she does normally sort out her transactions. I hope that she comes back to resolve these issues soon

I have heard back from her on FB and she has asked me to let everyone know she will try pop on in the next 48 hours.  I know about her RL situation and it wasn't a pretty situation to get through but i know she's been making progress and i know she wants to resolve this.  Hopefully we'll hear from her soon.

I am 100% patient with real life problems.  And you know what, if she could have given me some proof she shipped my end I would have racked it up to a lost in the mail thing and left it at that.  I am a pretty easy going trader under normal circumstances.  But this has not been a fun transaction at any point for me.
