We saw Songbird Serenade and Capper at TrU yesterday. I wish they hadn't been packed with Twilight Sparkle and Rarity!

Yeah, I'm waiting for the single release.

Am I wrong or is there a pattern of releasing new characters in special sets/big sets and then later releasing them again as singles or in smaller sets?  I'm thinking of ponies like Shining Armor, Muffins pony and now Tempest and Songbird.  Remember when you could only get Shining Armor by buying the wedding castle playset?  Or how Muffins was the Fair/SDCC exclusive and we never thought they would actually give her a wide release?

I keep telling myself this when eyeing Haven Bay.

Was hoping to find Sapphire Joy but my Walgreens currently has 1 pearly Twilight Sparkle and 6 of the Nurse Pony with the ribbon in her mane.
