I don't know, I don't find it very surprising. She doesn't come with any hair pieces, shoes etc. All she comes with is a comb. Just my opinion though lol

Tiny comb like for small ponies and they have less hair than the old FS ponies I think, and the eyes....look at Rarity

I just saw this set for the first time in stores at an Alco store in Montana. It really threw me that it was a solid box and that you couldn't see the actual ponies through the packaging.

Has any one seen this set in SoCal?  I've been hitting up Targets and TRU's in Orange County to no avail. :/

It's confusing with the prices as they're all cheaper online than in the catalogue! Let's hope the cheaper prices are the ones we can get! Of course they aren't in stock in stores yet but it won't be long

Big BIG news everypony! Check out this blurb from someone on the MLP forums about the London Toy Fair!!! "One thing they’re really pushing is their POP range - basically, build and customise your own ponies. You get these pony bodies that come on sprues that you POP out (get it?) and push together. They come with loads of accessories and have holes all over the body to push said bits and pieces into. You could have, for example, a Fluttershy body with Twilight wings and Pinkie hair, that kind of thing. There’ll also be a play set for you to show them off in. Oh, and they’re teeny - about 2” high. 

The HUGE push though? The new Equestria Girls movie, Rainbow Rocks. The girls are back and performing in a battle of the bands - each come with their own instruments, and Pinkie has a drum kit! There’s a big stage for them to perform on, and loads of other characters will be released for the movie too. Best one? DJ Pon-3, who has a car! With the windshield that looks like sunglasses! That can be removed so you can wear them."
TL;DR:  New design your own pop pony figurines with playset, new EQG movie about Rainbow Rocks, and an EQG DJ-Pon 3!!!!

Rarity has no bangs like the prototype photos show. Sorry, no photos, I didn't have time to take them

Yes, it's those ones exactly! And all Mane 6 I believe. They're the same size as the Walmart exclusive plushies.
