I know I'm beating a dead pony but the smaller princesses look like balloon heads. All that redesign and they managed to make them even more extreme looking.

I dunno, G4.5 are starting to grow on me. Even the giant balloon heads I like how simple this set is. No silly gimmicks or glitter or symbols plastered all over their bodies, or what-have-you. Just a simple set of normal ponies. Feels like it's been toooo long since that's happened.. now if only they were new characters

All About Ponies are in the reboot mould, though. That's symbol plastering on a way worse scale than CMM in my view.

With the Target exclusive set from last year appearing at Costco, it makes me feel like G4 is truly on it's way out now. 

I picked that one up a couple weeks ago!! There's some Weird... paint on some ponies (there was a Pinkie with THE weirdest error that I don't know how it could've even happened), eye highlights in the wrong spots, wonky CMs, others had a lot of factory dirt... but if you get a good box they're really nice ponies! I wish the regular brushables looked like this. Their eyes are so pretty and their hair is so soft! (well, the hair that isn't glued down!)
