I'm purchasing that Firefly baby, I'm seriously praying that she's not a rehair. Something tells me she's not though..  And I trust Gazzy. :) so I'm very happy. I hope to find those two Greek babies one day for myself as I'm wanting to collect the all. ^.^

They certainly look authentic to me. :) Granted I have only ever owned one greek and I probably don't know enough about them to tell really.
But is there any known baby like that from before? An orange pegasus with rattle symbol? I mean if there wasn't anyone like that from before, then why would anyone rehair this one?

My spies tell me that someone found TWO of these orange pegasus babies with orange hair and rattle symbols MIB with buggies some months ago from an old toy store outside of Athens and that one of them is -gossip has it- already sold to a high-profile collector... Some people who find old MLP stock here don't want to share information with the rest of us, assuming this attitude adds up to the ponies' value. Or, maybe they believe we are going to raid their houses and steal the treasure, who knows? Too many actions films or FIM episodes, if you ask me.

Oi, there are rumours that there is a dark blue baby pegasus too, in the colours of Greek Baby Glory *ducks to avoid flying fakies*

I agree with you. I think there is a pattern to the greek baby pony color scheme. This new cuddles fits in with the color scheme that we have seen.
Gazzys firefly raises an eye brow for me because that color scheme has not been seen before on any baby pony. And the mane being rooted like that
leaves no doubt it was not factory done. But fingers crossed she is the real deal.

I just can't decide if that purple baby cotton candy is a blossom hybrid or a cotton candy hybrid!
I guess I won't have to bother with deciding as I probably never will have the chance to buy her for my blossom collection. ;)
She is really cute! (I love purple ponies, and blossoms)

Those are my sentiments entirely Norrskensljus. I think her markings should safely classify her as a Cotton Candy, even if her colouring belongs to Blossom. Even so I'm suree she coould sit quite nicely in my Blossom collection!  :good:

aeith ~ yes i think ABSOLUTE CHAOS :P is the right way to describe what went on, there is some much variation within the greek pony line. all the variations in ponywear and the unicorn/pegasus line. i have seen the happy happy sisters and bibo dolls so i understand what you are talking about. i am now wondering IF there was a version made to match the other ponies? or is there no real pattern what so ever? (going back to the chaos theory again!)

princess sparkles ~ baby firefly is super sweet and she is OOAK for sure :) i have a long talk with gazzy over the pony's history, the pony was from someone's childhood collection. the rotting of the mane and colours just makes me wonder how she fits in with the rest of the greek line. there is no doubt that the greek ponies were hand finished, so that may be how she fits in. she is unlike any other greek baby found so far :)

tootie ~ as far as i know this is the first peach and lilac rattle baby found :) before we only knew of the green (with white hair), white (with pink hair) and lilac (with lilac hair) variations of this baby :D

love pkw xxxx

Personally, I would classify the baby as a Cotton Candy also, a bit like 'Applebelle' is generally considered a Bluebelle one rather than Applejack :)

That's interesting information about the colours, Aieth! *hopes for a blue pegasus* That does explain some of the duplicated colour schemes!

Like everyone else said, I love the Blossom/Cotton Candy baby. I love purple babies, I wish more had been made. It makes me kind of sad that I will probably never own this one.
