Getting rid of pink highlighter?
« on: May 10, 2012, 11:18:30 AM »
I realised my bait has pink highlighter on it, or it might be the colour from her hair. Will it effect my pony when airbrush? If so how do i remove it?
Thank you

Well, I don't have any real experience with highlighter stains, but, have you tried a magic eraser? I hear a lot of customizers use it on pen stains and it works well. I also don't have any experience with an airbrush, though.  >_<  You could try using acetone to get rid of the stain and then wash the bait thoroughly.

If your doing a FBR shouldn't cause a problem. You may just have to do a few extra coats. If your just doing a gradient onto the original body color you'll need to sunfade it for a month or something. Not sure on sunfading. Check in the corral. They have lots of tips on that stuff

There's nothing that can be done. You'll have to pain over it.

Unless you want to spend a month or more sunfading her, I'd say just paint over it. You won't have much luck removing it with any other method. It'll be fine if you're doing a full body repaint, though. :)
