Strawberry Reef, nice! I received mine as a "bait" that I was able to restore. From peoples' tales, she seems to pop up serendipitously, like a pixie! Her pose is a bit odd but I love her anyway.

She certainly popped up in a most unexpected place!!  I drove by the house again today (half hoping to find another pony), but no such luck.  I honestly doubt it will ever happen to me again, but it was such a wonderful little surprise.  I think that the universe rewarded me for being better about buying ponies this month!!  Not really, considering that I've not only *fallen* off the pony wagon, but I've been run over by the pony wagon too.

I found a pony on the sidewalk once, but I left her, because I know there were kids that lived in the house nearby.  She was one I already had and I didn't want to take a little girls favorite pony.  How funny you found one on a mailbox though.

I'm pretty sure if there was a little girl there, the pony would be in the house and not sitting on their mailbox.  She was manky, with what looks like rot spots on her legs, so chances are she's been outside for a while.  I don't think anyone is missing this pony.  In the meantime, Strawberry Reef is very loved and treasured!
