Hi everybody,
One month ago, I have ordered and paid a Mummy Sunbright to Orca which was in her sales list. I just received a mail from her saying that she has well reiceved the payment and she will shipped the pony the day after. Or until today and even if I have written her several mails, I have no answers and of course I still haven't received the pony.
Does anyone has some news of her/ does anyone have communication with her? Am I the only one in this case or does anyone also ordered a pony from her and has until today received nothing without explanation?
Many thanks for your help!! Kind regards

I am sorry you are having issues Bibinette   I don't know her but maybe someone else can shed some light on her for you.

It also looks like her last sign on date was  March 14, 2012, 02:14:34 AM, a month ago. :(

I would just make sure you keep an eye on your 45 day window with Paypal to open a claim if you do not hear back from her or your pony does not show up.

Mmmm.... how interesting.

Not long ago, I started a thread 'At what point should I worry?'. That thread was/is concerning ponies I have also bought off Orca.

I still have not received mine, either

I was able to get in touch with her, through her paypal email address at about the just over 3 week mark, and she responded with a positive vibe, advising to wait a little bit longer; that she had often had to wait around 4 weeks for parcels. Mine were posted on the 13th of March. Given Easter, I could expect that things might take a bit longer, but I've never had a parcel take this long before. I've had two parcels arrive from Germany in the last three days, and they were sent no more than two weeks ago, and as I said just before, we've had Easter slowing down mail, so had it not been for the holiday, they probably would have got here even sooner!

I'll be very interested to see if and when you get your parcel, Bibinettepony. I'm still holding out hope for ridiculously slow mail, but confess to growing anxiousness over this.

Oh no Marlin!
I can understand your concern at this point.  I know mail has been slow and hopefully that is all it is still.

Have you tried to contact her again?  If not I would give it a couple days and try her again.

But please remember that 45 day Paypal window also as it is fast approaching for you.

:(  It is a bit worrying when more than one person is having this kind of issue with the same seller  :yikes: .
It could be possible that the parcels are just delayed - especially with the holidays , and being international... but the lack of communication concerns me , as well as the fact that both of you are still waiting for your parcels from her   .   I would try contacting her by her email addy again as Ponylady suggested, as well as keeping that 45 day deadline in mind

Hi Everyone,
many thanks for all your answers, yes I am a bit worrying now and many thanks for the information concerning the 45 days on Paypal, i did not know that. Well I will try to contact her again but I also keep in mind what I can do on Paypal. I just hope the parcel only takes a lot of time . In every case I will keep you informed.
Again thanks a lot  ;)

I'm waiting on ponies from Orca too. I thought they were just delayed so haven't contacted her, but I've been so busy with other stuff I didn't realise I have been waiting for them for nearly six weeks. Yikes  :/ I paid on March 2nd and they were sent on the 4th March. I only have one day to open a claim, I've never done it before... should I just in case?

Oh wow... ok... now I am perturbed big time! Dollhands, I'm in NZ too.

Could there be customs issues I/we are unaware of? My lot was around NZ$70 worth, but that was including costly canadian postage... I'd have to go back and check how much I paid for the ponies themselves.

I think I'll send her another email, discussing opening a claim which I can close again in the event the ponies turn up. If you have only that one day window, maybe it could be wise to do the same thing?

Hugs and hopes to all of us!!!

I thought I recognised your username :)

Yeah maybe :( I forgot that Orca is from Canada. My experience with Canada post is it takes forever to arrive :S One swap I was in the package arrived three months after it was sent, that also happened to me when I bought some Barbies. I actually happen to be waiting for another package from Canada which is six weeks since sent too. Maybe it's just slow postage?

My total is $42 but that includes postage. That is a good idea, I'm still not sure though. I get worried she will get annoyed. :(

Hugs to everyone too!

I know you might be worried she will get annoyed dollhands but it is for your protection in the event it does not show up.  It is nothing against her.  The claim can always be canceled once the pony arrives. ;)

I would send her an email and explain that you are worried at this point and that you are filing a claim to cover yourself.  And that assure her that once the pony or ponies arrive that you will gladly close the claim.

Hopefully it is just an issue with slow postage :)

So now we have 3 people waiting for packages from Orca, with no communication  :(     I'm glad you opened the claim Dollhands   I know it isnt an easy thing to do when its another member involved, but its still the right thing t do at this point.  She shouldnt be annoyed if you sent her a message explaining the situation  when you opened the claim- that you've waited the 45 days first , but still no pony. You'll re-send her the money when the parcel arrives  :awake:
I hope that its just the post being slow, but  like I said before - it gets worrying when more than one person is waiting ...

I'm glad you opened the claim, too, Dollhands. Let us know how it goes, and if you get in touch with Orca, or she with you as a result of the claim

I haven't yet emailed her as I said I would - I'm frightened of annoying her as well  :(  I'll wait a bit longer, I have about another week before the 45 day mark, so will just hang in there for the moment and do a claim as a last resort if the ponies don't turn up. As ponylady said, it's for our own cover, and nothing personal.

Generally a very sucky situation altogether.
