RECEIVED SOMEONE ELSES PONIES BY MISTAKE ON EBAY

Good afternoon pony folk!

This is a long shot as I'm hoping the winner of this auction is on this forum.

I received a box of 20 My Little Ponies this morning from Royal Mail, much to my surprise! I was utterly confused, as I don't generally have anything sent to my home address. I checked through my purchase history to make sure I'd not bought anything after one too many glasses of wine. Nothing. I phoned all my family to ask if they'd purchased anything, and everyone else was as confused as I was!

I did a search through eBay completed listings, and found the lot. It was from this seller: a.ramone

I'd bought a G1 Bubbles with French back card from the same seller, and can only assume that there has been an order cross-over. However what makes me confused is that I'd asked for Bubbles to be sent to my work address (double-checked eBay order details to confirm this) so I don't know why this box was sent to my home address 

So if anyone here was the winner of that auction, or has received a pony they shouldn't have, please PM me and let me know! 

I have contacted the seller to let them know of their mistake, but I'm not really sure of how to proceed from here... Any advice greatly appreciated!

I would wait to hear back from the seller.  They will probably ask for you to return them, at their expense of course.


But I know I have done it on mistake before and asked my buyer to please forward it to the right person.  And I paid them for shipping costs and a little extra for their trouble.

This situation has happened to me before, but I was the buyer. I was happy to ship the item to the correct person with the shipping covered, and it all worked out in the end. Hopefully everything goes ok for you too

I sent a message to the seller as soon as I worked out who it was this morning. There were no order details or anything. Hopefully they'll be able to help. I'm just anxious about sending the ponies back to the seller and not receiving Bubbles. I've been stung too many times in the past 

The one I bought is this one - which I believe is either Italian or French (couldn't quite tell, but I own neither):

Whether you send it back to the seller or the correct buyer I second what the others have said about the SELLER paying for all the shipping.

Oh no!!! I won a lot from the same seller! I won the unicorn/pegasus lot ( it has princess sparkle and Locket in it amongst others, 10 ponies in total). I just got a message from them asking if I got my ponies yet and to tell them if I get thhe right ones....what a nightmare!

I guess I just have to wait......can you tell me what ponies you have received....maybe my lot is in there

At least if I receive the bubbles moc I can at least send it to you, instead of sending it back to the seller

This happened to me on ebay with a different seller - the other buyer whose item I recieved (and who got the item I won) turned out to be another Arena member and we all worked things out without any problems. Hopefully your situation will turn out well too
 
Is this the lot you received instead of Bubbles?  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MY-LITTLE-PONY-LOT-/170809416016?pt=UK_Toys_Creative_Educational_RL&hash=item27c508d950   if so then there is a good chance that the person who won them might have Bubbles instead since this auction ended not long after the Bubbles one.
I know it is stressful when you receive the wrong package, but I dont think I would worry too much just yet  - you contacted the seller and they are aware of the situation. They didnt sell too many items recently so it might not take long for them to track down who they sent your Bubbles to.  They may even have sent her to you as well

Hi Ringlets - yes that's the lot I received. So don't worry Partypony! The seller asked if I'd post it on to the correct buyer, which I agreed to do, but has so far not given me the address. They said they were waiting to hear from whomever had the incorrect package first. I don't really know why they won't give me the address now, but hey ho.

Fingers crossed it will all work out soon!

Just went along to the sorting office and Bubbles was waiting there for me! 

...

And another lot of ponies which aren't mine. 

I've also received a G3 Peach Blossom, along with a few baby ponies. I've written to the seller, who I hope will pass on the address details for those of who should have had these.

If I happen to receive any more items that aren't mine, I'll let you guys know.

Yes the other lot was from the same seller. I actually just checked now, and it looks like it was the same winner as the lot of 20 ponies I received:

It is a nice little lot!
Boy, this seller is really confused though?  It's a good thing they went to someone who is honest about having them and willing to send them off to their correct owners.
