To learn to play music, you must practice. Often this practice includes scales and rhythm studies. To me, my homework ponies are like practicing scales for a musician. I am inspired by Hasbro's colors and I choose challenging patterns and intricate designs to work on my painting dexterity. Then I finish them off for fun!

Presenting Tangerine Twist:
This girl started out as Wishawhirl (one of my fav G3s except for her lame symbol). She was given an intricate design over multiple painting sessions. She has been accented with vivid orange jewelry and pearlized pins. Her eyes have been sealed in triple thick for added depth.

That is one gorgeous and detailed symbol! I love her colors, too, but I'd say she's infinitely better this way than Hasbro's way.

oooh, looks more like she's the result of a lot of practice-- I wish my practicing was this amazing right off the bat

very small detail, that's amazing! And I love the colors, they're very in your face and attention catching, not a color combo I see all that often and it looks amazing

and I love the eyes! the opacity seems more piercing than a regular black iris style. Great job!

Drats, too late. She is so amazing. I really love that color combination. The paintwork is also amazing. The jewels on her forehead tie everything together nicely.
