New Taobao Luna is Beautiful!

I. Must. Have. Her.  I just LOVE that mold to death!  Granted, if she ends up in stores and isn't in some freakishly expensive set, I think I'll have to give her just the teeniest tiniest bit of a rehair to take out the pink, but I do think this is my favourite Luna toy so far!  Like I said, I'm in love with that mold, mainly because of the wings.  Those are some uh-may-zing wings!

I guarantee the color choice is from a sales standpoint. We've never had a ton of blue ponies in this gen or with G3s to begin with. :\ Color-accurate Luna would be awesome though. I really wish they'd paint in her details.
 
That being said she looks pretty good! I am digging the glitter wings. Her proportions are a little wonky but I'll still be all over this toy when it comes out.

Luuuuna! I need you in my life! I wonder what she'll come with. To be honest, I'd be happiest if she was $10, on her own, with her jewelery, a comb and maybe a few extra pieces of plastic junk. I have a sneaking feeling that she'll be part of a $16+ set though. She's purple but maybe I can over look it? Probably reroot the hair though, to remove all the extra colors. But...Hasbro? WIDE RELEASE. Please don't make her the 4th Luna that non-Americans have trouble buying. ; She's really swell. Throw us a bone, plz.

Or, since she was in the show, maybe Cherry Pie was Cherry Berry with makeup and a horn prosthetic! :O CONSPIRACY. Dun dun dun~! Totally weird that they would release one pink cherry-themed pony with golden yellow hair after they other O_O;; I mean, I'll be happy to have her but it's way weird planning.

LE GASP! I knew it all along! I can forgive some similar ponies as they do try to stay within a target area of colors/themes but come onnnn. Make her pink with a corral symbol and teal hair BAM, new child appropriate theme and still pink. No more flowers/fruit/baked goods @_@

I originally didn't want Cherry Pie since she looks so similar to Cherry Berry (and I like Cherry Berry better) but I ended up changing my mind in the end because I figure that maybe those two are sisters. I suppose if one parent is a unicorn and the other is an earth pony, it would be possible. Plus, I want every different character. I have them all so far except for Star Dreams, Skywishes and the new ones not out yet. Of course, that's not including the re-releases because I only want one version of each character, the only exception being Fluttershy since she's my favorite.

Yay!! Finally, an accurate Luna! I didn't buy either version of Luna at Target because they were too short and the eyes on the Luna with the pink Celestia looked kinda weird. (Besides, I'm waiting for a white brushable Celestia.) Leave the derping on the toys to Pony, please!  Anyway, this Luna is the perfect height (probably... I haven't seen her compared to normal-sized G4s so I don't know for sure) and the eyes are perfect!
