Tired of ugly FiM ponies? Especially boys?

I...I dunno how to feel about this being a 'ugly body type' myself.

But really, I like the diversity. It's realistic-ish. Well...it's exaggerated, but it's a cartoon. They kinda have to do that.

I laughed so hard everytime that white beefed up pony with those itty bitty wings came on screen.  He was hilarious!

It's just a cartoon. Besides, people comes in all shapes, sizes and appearances, too! It makes sense, adds diversity and I'm sure it's a lot more fun for the artists and animators to spice it up a bit!

I like the variety of ponies we've seen, and Roid Rage pony made me laugh. I even like the facial hair ponies. More diversity among ponies is a pro in my book.

Which might one add only appeared in one episode out of 48 of them and was only comic relief.

And in case you're talking about the average background extra,  I usually find them cute.
I mean there are a few ugly ones here in there (mainly those with facial hair), but not enough to say that Hasbro is "going too far" with something.

Yeah, there's horses with facial hair like that. Generally when they start to grow they don't grow too long but sometimes it ends up looking like a mini beard.

Everyone can name background ponies, that's cool. we all do it. And sometimes the names are really good. but some people need to settle down about making every single name the community comes up with 'canon.'

I've liked all the diversity so far.  The big white male pegasus (whatever his name ends up being) amused me in last week's episode, I think most of the ponies are cute and I like the look of the boy ponies.  And the ponies with facial hair don't really bother me (as they're magical ponies, I don't expect a lot of realism.)

Also, Gypsy Vanner horses grow them, in the winter or not. A lot of the Gypsies at the barn I train at have them. It always makes me laugh when i see them with their big mustaches.

Seconded! I feel like we're losing the variety of background names we might have had otherwise, when everyone kind of came up with their own names. Horse Power? Really? :/ So I guess Arnold Schwarzenegger should be renamed 'Human Power'? It just seems really ridiculous to be named after your own species, is all.
