Customs numbers and tracking.. Do they recycle numbers..?

I shipped out a package today to Sarah-Bee in the UK. The person at the counter was extremely unenthusiastic and ended up shipping the package via First Class, even though I wanted it to be shipped express or priority. She didn't let me get a word in.
I saw the customs number on the receipt and went to type it into the USPS tracking, along with the other packages I sent once I got home and saw this.

I am not in MA, I'm in NJ.. The number is correct and I have checked it multiple times. Earlier it said "Restore Archived Information" next to the number.
Do they recycle the customs numbers..? Will this update and be the correct shipment eventually? Or should I go to the post office tomorrow and ask about it? :/
Any help would be appreciated!

Yes, they do.
The first time a tracking number gets used, it sits on their website for about six months, then it is "deleted" from the website and returned to the computer system to be used again. In very rare situations, the number doesn't get deleted and when it is reused, the old information pops up instead of the new info when the customs number is scanned again. This is probably what happened to your number.
 
It should update itself but it may not.  If not I would not worry about it because you are not able to track it with First Class anyways.  The number you punched in will only show you when it was accepted at the PO, so basically it's useless.
 
I wouldn't worry though I am pretty sure it will arrive with no problems.

and yes Ponylady is right - they do recycle the numbers (which can be confusing if it still shows the old details )  . I'm sure everything will arrive just fine though

Last night I checked the tracking number and it gave me an option to restore or something? So I did and now it says it was sent from BELLMAWR NJ 08031  and was dispatched to sort facility here THOROFARE NJ 08086

I was thinking about it last night and figured even if they messed with with the tracking number, it has my address on right? So it'll get here
