Why am I having so much trouble tracking down a NM Locket?


I've never regarded her as especially valuable or htf, no more so that the oter TEs anyways, but I haven't come across a really minty one in ... well, ever!


Am I not looking hard enough? Does anypony know something I don't?

I actually think the second set of TEs are all tough to find...if you do an ebay completed listings search for each of the 5 of them you ll probably find as many Mimics that have been for sale as you have Lockets or Bright Eyes...Mimic is just more sought after not really that much harder to find than the others [in my opinion from watching ebay and sales on here]

So I would guess the fact none of them, including Locket, come up daily would be the reason she is maybe taking you a while to track down

She is worth finding though...one of the most gorgeous ponies! Good luck in your search

Partypony, it's frustrating isn't it? Some ponies just seem to fall in your lap and others just don't want to come out and play!

My trouble is I don't think there's a Locket out there without sunken eyes...  Every single one I've seen or come across has sunken eyes.  O.o

i think its her hair.... it seems like for some reason her hair is aways dry and seldom in original curls... and im a hair freak so i never owned her since i couldnt find one unless she was removed from her card...

Yeah, it is hard to find Locket in really good shape. I agree that it's often her hair that isn't in very good condition, and her eyes do seem to end up sunken in a lot of the time. I love her keys symbol though, so I really do want to find one that's "good enough," LOL. Keep looking, though, and I'm sure you'll find one!

i'm having the same problem with finding a nice locket too :/ i've never noticed her having sunken in eyes, but i have noticed that many have bad hair or regrind!

I found my girl on Etsy for a great price, but I had been looking for a long time previously. Sometimes straying from ebay is the best thing you can do. But sometimes Etsy prices can be just as silly Good luck!

I am another one looking for locket! I find that its the hair that normally puts me off... though after reading this thread so far I am going to be a bit paranoid about 'sunken eyes' O_o Is it really obvious if they have these?

It's quite obvious if the eyes are sunken, they look pushed in from the side and don't stick out as far as they normally would. These pics you can see her eyes are almost flush with the rest of her face. Most that I've found just had bad smooze.

At one time I had 3 of her... I've since traded 2 away. I didn't know she was uncommon. lol.

Princess Locket stole them all for her army....

I had a fantastic one once, but it had 1 spot of re-grind in a very prominent area, not sure if I sold her, but I can't find her on my shelf. I think I've only had her once in my life of pony collecting- good luck!

I was gonna say, she gets regrind easily.  Mine is at a halfway point of pink plastic and purple plastic.

The crazy thing is I won her in a lot today ....I couldn't see the pic properly as I was on my phone but the lot was cheap so I bid anyway... now I have looked on my pc I can see Locket hiding in there
