It's a brag for me, okay I got my latest batch of bait ponies today, and they were AWESOME. You have to see their horrible hair. These girls also look like they were kept in someone's makeup bag. They were just what I wanted! Sweet little Minty has so much red polish on her, she looks like a zombie. Which is probably her destiny anyhow

LOL! Great finds... I'm not *too* badly into G3s but from this angle (it is late here and eyes not working much) they look really nice, wild hair and all ... perhaps a little too nice to bait (even with Minty and her red polish) But good luck and have fun customising!

The picture doesn't show much detail, but they are pretty far gone. Butterscotch is in the best shape of the bunch, her main body flaw is wear on her nose. With a new tail, she'd be passable (haircut!). I gave them all a bath, shampoo and condition to see what could be done with them. I tried to use goof-off to get rid of the red marks but whatever it is has completely stained them.


However, looking at these ones has made me realize what good condition my thrift store ponies are in! I will hold off on baiting them for now


Seriously, my favourite part of getting bait ponies is seeing the difference from scary hair to conditioned and brushed hair. It's amazing. Even if I do wind up cutting it off to re-hair, I find it so much fun to try and fix it.

None of those really look baity to me, just in need of some serious salon time, but... they are your G3's.

Awesome, thanks for the links! Though I do need bodies for making customs, I am also interested in restoring those who can be saved and have a new home found. I love looking at all those before and after pics, that is a great thread.
