Blind Bag Order

With the blind bag mania that seems to have put HB in full swing...I keep trying to get my head around this...so does the following "Wave" Order look right....

So I am coding these by colour of bags....and included pony examples from each set so I make sense...


Wave 1 - Pink - sparkle TS, RD & PP
Wave 2 - Dark Purple - sparkle FS, AJ & Rarity
Wave 3 - Purple - glow in the dark TS, PP & Rarity
Wave 4 - Yellow - glow in the dark RD, FS & AJ
Wave 5 - Blue - metal AJ, PP & Rarity


Am I out on any of this?

Well, my personal thoughts I am going with the way they have started appearing. So I consider blue bag #4, and this newest one (yellow bag) wave #5. It seems weird to put it out of order.

UNLESS, that's really how it will be released in stores (and we wouldn't know until they start appearing).

I was thinking that way too banditpony...the only think which has changed my mind is the fact the yellow ones seem to have the other 3 as GID versions....but as you say maybe we ll just have to wait to see the order in stores...although that doesnt help in the UK as we skipped Wave 1 and 2 and headed straight into Wave 3!!!

I am going to scrutinize the box picture for awhile.

My first thought was, Fluttershy just didn't have her hair painted. The "special" ponies of the set are the unipegs... and well... I dunno.
Then I read the glow in the dark thing, and I still feel pessimistic... but I really hope it is.

Are there any other pictures that indicate that there is an Applejack or Rainbow Dash ?

Fluttershy's card has pink hair. Previous cards have solid colors (PP, TS, Rarity). Also previous cards have a "glow" around them. Not that I believe in any sense that what we see is final by any means.


I see Rainbow Dash is pictured with colored hair. Again, this is still a mocked up version... so.


I also don't see a Applejack on the box. :/ (again...)

Besides not having earth ponies, the other weird things about this yellow wave is that only Fluttershy seems to be G-I-D. Rainbow Dash (number 9 in the series) and Twilight Sparkle look like regular blind bag ponies. Also, from the mane 6 Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and AppleJack are missing. (Yes PP and AJ are earth ponies so their absence is partially explained.)

Well that makes sense that the unipeg princesses in the box are the specials....so maybe blue and yellow need to swap

There are only 22 ponies pictured of the yellow wave [although I may be miss counting] so I kind of hoped that at least one of those missing was a GID RD and the other one was maybe a regular FS?

I am trying to number them on the box, to see which ones end up being the two not pictured. haha. I have been curious too.

but as kinda mentioned now, and i did notice earlier... no earth ponies in this release. (so no applejack probably. ><)

It looks like they are really only doing half in glow in the dark. I think I am going to have to learn to cast resin if I want to have them all.

Ooooo this is a really good idea.  There's someone on DA who does cast resin manes and tales. They are remarkable. I'd have never have thought of doing this for blind bags!

You could add the green glittery boy with the fireball symbol (and any other 'prototypes' that don't seem to belong to a particular wave) to your list too. It would help if we knew all of the bb's available. :3 Ooo and don't forget the TRU box!

Weird I only counted 22 as well...must just have overlooked the other 2...

I am now coming to the conclusion we are missing something else...only doing selected ponies in special mould seems odd...but I suppose thats the HB way!

I think I am more confused than less lol!!
