Leaving ponies behind :<

I never leave a G1 out...poor things....
I don't care for G2 and G3...but sometimes i get them during lots.

Not that  I've seen any real MLPs in a while - but I have a hard time leaving them behind when I find them in a thrift store. The only reason I would leave them behind is if they were in such awful condition that I couldn't clean them up. I will leave the McD  ponies behind too.

I leave G3s behind often, but never G1s.

I don't leave behind g1s, regardless of condition.  However, I will leave behind a g3, especially if it is common because the odds are I already have her in spades and I don't need yet another Pinkie Pie/Fluttershy/Sparkleworks. 

I've so far only found 1 g4, non McDonald's pony (Applejack,) so odds are I would buy them.

I left a g3 behind once at salvation army and felt so bad because I didn't realize until I got home that it was Waterfire! She's one I actually want and restoring her would've made me so happy.
She had a massive haircut (of almost no hair) so I didn't recognize her..

I've only left behind some McD's ponies and some fakies so far. I'd lined up the fakies on the shelf while trying to decide if I wanted them, then as I walked away I swear they all stared at me with accusing eyes.

I never leave a G1 behind- I overpaid once for a lot with one once, though, and I won't do it again unless it's a pony I really want for my collection, not just for the sake of giving a G1 a home. My Value Village doesn't charge more for G1, though, so as long as I stick to that, I won't have to worry about it.

G3... I'll take most of them if they look like they can be fixed up or would be good bait (no sharpie stains, bite marks, etc.). I've started leaving some G3 behind if I have enough of them. And I leave McDonald's ponies and fakies for kids.

I once saw a few G2 at a flea market. I bought one, then felt bad for the others and went back and got them the next week. And I don't even like G2 that much!

If it's McDonald's ponies, they're usually left behind (unless they're from the new set that I don't have yet). Otherwise I will usually get whatever MLP is there.

I never leave G1s behind, G2s I only buy if they look decent, and G3s I only buy if I know them to be sought after.
Although I see a lot of G3s at flea markets, I don't actually collect them myself, and just think it's better to leave the common ones for kids to play with, since I would get no money for selling them on anyway.

o i usually leave behind the large plushie g3 babies with the plastic heads. I have so many and cant get rid of them.... (if anyone wants any...just ask!)  Left 2 behind today.... poor things.

G1s and G2s are defintely "no pony left behind."  But I do leave G3s behind if they have haircuts, major marks that don't look like they will come off with magic eraser, and tail rust.  I also leave behind common G3s like the core 7.  And McDonalds ponies--I don't buy them anymore unless they come in a bag with other G3 ponies.  As for G3 plushies, they have to be clean with no stains--ew.
