Strange Mexican pony auctions
« on: March 10, 2012, 11:06:05 AM »
While browsing ebay, I looked up Mexican my little ponies and found a couple of auctions for six Mexican ponies, but when you read the auction, seller states you can only get one. One auction is already over $100! I wanted to bring this up in case any members were bidding that they may think they are getting all six when it is only for 1!! Search ebay mexico my little pony to find auctions. Very shady!

Yeah, I don't think people are reading the auction text. Why wouldn't the seller list them all separately? That's so odd!

I saw them too, kinda misleading, but since they dó mention it in the discription, it is their fully right to do it this way.

But yes, it is a bit odd in my opinion. I almost put in an amount that would be waaaaay to much for only one :/

yeah, I saw those; the seller has listed several like that over the last couple weeks.  They are *very* clear in the description that you are bidding on one pony of your choice, so I hope people are paying attention.  I haven't seen many of the prince ponies though, especially in that kind of condition, so maybe that is why that one is going so high?

People keep getting stung for not reading the text in auctions, I don't understand why it is so hard to read the description myself. If you think a deal is too good, it probably is ;)

Thankies for the heads up
I've seen a few auctions like this and sometimes people get carried away bidding without reading the description properly or realizing that its only one pony they are bidding for. People really do need to read the descriptions carefully first , but it would be helpful if sellers just took one pic for each item  :awake:

That is pretty weird. I don't  get why the seller couldn't have taken individual pictures of each pony.
Thanks for the heads up, though!

I think people bet excited about what they see and bid before reading everything...just my thought.  I see these kinds of auctions a lot and I generally stay away from them.
