Wave 1 with forelocks. To save or not to save?

I found a wave 1 Applejack and Twilight Sparkle with their forelocks. I also found a Blossomforth which has been kind of scarce lately.  I'm wondering, do you think that it'll be worth keeping them around MIB for awhile and selling them off later? I'm debating on if I should keep them or give them away at the next Pony panel I do at an anime convention. @_@

I've decided to hold on to the ones I have with bangs, even though I'm not found of the "look".  I guess keep em if you have the room?

Yeah, I'd hang onto them. If you have single Cheerilee too, definitely hold onto her. Her body is much darker mauve than the new cheerilee's that are more hot pink.

You found a Blossomforth with bangs? Definitely keep that - I was sure there weren't any.

wave 1 only had those, I think SB and AB is from wave 2, she has bangs there, but then again it depends where you are, there is loads here but there seems to be none in other parts

In all honesty on the others I dont think at any point in the future G4s which were readily available in shops are going to be rare or worth anything more than retail prices - lots of people have kept them in box and unlike with previous generatios there are even more collectors about for G4 than the smaller number for G3, even smaller for G2 and even smaller again for G1 when these brands were actually in store...but I know as a G1 collector I like all the different "official" variations so I am sure G4 completion-ists in the future will be looking for them...

No, only Applejack and Twilight Sparkle have the forelocks.

I did find a cherrilee there during the holidays and grabbed her up, but she was given away.

I'd definitely keep 'em. I personally doubt that keeping them MIB will matter though.

I would keep them. I bought several Twilight Sparkles/Applejacks to customize back when TRU had their BOGO sale, and they all have bangs. It seems to me that if they keep re-releasing them without bangs, that the banged ponies will be more HTF, so I will be holding onto my 'baits' and finding some new ponies to work with. You can do whatever you'd like, I'm just letting you know what I will be doing!
