Has anyone 'restored' her back to white?

I have seen it done!  I bet one of our very talented customizers has a picture for you!  If you are wondering how it is done though, I believe the color-changing paint was easily removed with acetone like symbols.

Filthy, that's awesome!  Did she stay white permanently?

No, if she gets cold she turns back to pink/blue (and white again with hairdryer). She is acting as a weather girl on my window sill, if she turns pink I know it's too cold outside. :P

haha, what a cute idea!

The apint can be removed with acetone, but I don't know about the term "easily." I have heard it takes quite a bit of time and effort. I haven't tried on mine yet.

Definitely not easy. In fact I chucked mine back into a box because I got that annoyed. Really really tough.

Eventually I'm going to try and boil it off.

Yep it is hard work! I did mine with acetone/ nail varnish remover.

She is so much prettier now! ;)

Any ideas why my SC doesn't have any blue any more? Ever since I got her, the blue part was white, but the pink is still pink :O she doesn't seem tampered with, it's like the blue is broken :p

I'm about an eighth of the way through taking the coating off mine with acetone. It's a pain in the butt! I only do small bits at a time and only for ten minutes - you really have to rub hard to get it off and use plenty of acetone.

Mine's paint came off really easily with goof off, but I didn't realize that the paint is a pretty think coat that covers her whole body, meaning you're forced to take off all her symbols

It kind of peels off in big rubbery pieces.

Looks like I'm going to have to take mine off as well, I just couldn't get her white again with heat. I think I'm going to see if her hair can be saved...if not I may go the bait option if it's going to take that much work and her symbol will be removed anyways.
